Grading

After you finish a test, AIandMe may need a little time to check your answers and prepare your result. During this time, the test appears under Grading.

Your test is saved, and AIandMe can continue grading it after you leave the page.

  1. See how AI-Guided answers are checked

    In an AI-Guided test, AIandMe checks each answer when you select Submit.

    You stay on the question while it is checked. When checking completes, you cannot change the answer, and the feedback panel shows whether it was correct, the marks and the available feedback.

    If AIandMe cannot check an answer, it shows that checking failed. You may be able to try submitting the answer again.

  2. See how Exam-based answers are checked

    In an Exam-based test, you cannot change submitted answers, and you do not see immediate feedback.

    After you select Finish test, AIandMe saves your last answer, records any unanswered questions and checks the test.

  3. Wait for your result

    After Finish test, your test moves to Grading on Practice With AI.

    The Grading card means AIandMe is checking your answers and preparing the result. Once you finish the test, you cannot go back and continue answering it.

    You can leave the page. You do not need to keep it open. AIandMe continues grading, and the Practice With AI page updates when the status changes.

  4. Open your result

    When the result is ready, the test moves to Completed.

    AIandMe can also notify you when the result is ready. Select View result to open the Practice Test Result.

    An AI-Guided test also appears under Grading after you finish, even though its answers were checked during the test. AIandMe still needs to prepare the full result.

  5. If grading fails

    If AIandMe cannot prepare the result, the test moves to Failed and shows Result processing failed.

    You cannot reopen that test or continue answering it. Select Set up again to create a new test.

    Set up again does not retry the failed result. If an AI-generated test failed while it was being created, AIandMe may fill in your earlier setup choices. After a result fails, the new setup starts fresh.
