How do I decide what I should study next?

There is no single AIandMe number that always tells you exactly what to study next.

Different parts of AIandMe answer different questions:

• Study Plan tells you what learning remains in a chapter.
• Learning Insights helps you understand your AI Study Room progress and learning.
• Testing Insights shows patterns from Practice With AI.
• NEET Question Insights shows syllabus connections and historical PYQ patterns.
• NEET Stats, where included in your plan, combines NEET chapter priority with parts of your own learning.
• Ask AI can help you discuss what your recent work is showing in the chapter you are studying.

The useful question is not:

“Which screen tells me what to study?”

It is:

“What am I trying to improve right now?”

1. First decide what kind of problem you are trying to solve

   Before choosing the next topic, ask yourself why you are looking for something to study.

   You may want to continue unfinished learning, fix a doubt, learn from test results, improve your pace or decide where to spend limited NEET revision time.

   Each problem may need a different next step, so look at the part of AIandMe that matches it.

2. If you are still learning the chapter, start with your Study Plan

   If your main goal is simply to continue learning a chapter, your Study Plan is usually the simplest place to look.

   Its ordered learning days use NS, WIP and Done to show what you have not started, what is in progress and what is complete.

   If Day 2 is unfinished, you do not necessarily need an AI recommendation telling you to jump to Day 7.

   Sometimes the sensible next step is simply to continue the learning you already started.

3. If the learning is complete but you are still unsure, look at your checked work

   Progress and understanding are different.

   A chapter can have strong Study Plan progress while your quizzes and tests still show that some parts need more attention.

   Use:

   • Daily Quiz results;
   • Chapter-level Tests;
   • competency;
   • and the wider Learning Insights view.

   Learning Insights brings together your AI Study Room progress, learning level, study time and results. It can also show Weakest chapters among chapters you have started.

   Use that information to ask:

   “Have I completed the learning but still need to understand it better?”

4. If practice is showing repeated problems, use Testing Insights

   If your concern comes from Practice With AI, look at Testing Insights.

   Once you have enough completed Practice With AI tests, it can show patterns such as:

   • scores;
   • accuracy;
   • pacing;
   • subjects and chapters that may need attention;
   • sections that may need focus once you have answered enough questions for a useful pattern to show;
   • and incorrect or Guessed questions worth reviewing.

   Testing Insights also has a What should I do next? area that can suggest practical actions from the testing information currently available.

   The suggestions can help you decide whether to:

   • revise;
   • review missed questions;
   • slow down;
   • revisit unanswered questions or take another focused test.

   Use them as suggestions alongside the rest of your learning—not as commands.

5. If the problem is a specific mistake, fix that before moving on

   Sometimes the best next thing to study is the concept behind the question you just got wrong—not another chapter.

   If you have repeated wrong or Guessed answers from one chapter or section:

   • review the question;
   • understand why the answer went wrong;
   • return to Read, Revise or Ask AI if the concept is unclear;
   • and use a Revision test when eligible.

   A small unresolved misunderstanding can become more important than starting another broad topic. Learn from questions you got wrong or Guessed for a more detailed review routine.

6. For extra NEET revision, look at past question patterns

   NEET Question Insights can show which syllabus items connect to a chapter and how past NEET questions are distributed across its sections.

   Where your plan includes NEET Stats, you can compare NEET chapter importance with your progress, learning levels and study time.

   For example, a HIGH chapter that you have not started—or where your recent work is weaker—may deserve attention.

   Historical priority does not predict the future NEET paper, and a LOW or MED chapter is not something you should ignore.

   Use this to choose where to give extra attention, not what parts of the syllabus to skip.

7. Use Ask AI when you want help interpreting the current chapter

   If you are unsure what to do next in a chapter, Ask AI can help you discuss what your recent work is showing.

   When enough information exists, you can ask:

   • “Based on my recent work, what should I revise next?”
   • “Which parts seem to need more attention?”
   • “What should I focus on before another test?”
   • “My progress is good but my assessment results are weaker. What should I revisit?”

   Ask AI can use available chapter progress and results to help you think through the decision.

8. When two clues disagree, check what each one means

   You may sometimes see something like:

   High progress + weaker competency

   That can mean you have completed much of the planned learning, but your checked work suggests that understanding still needs attention.

   Or:

   Good AI Study Room learning + weaker Practice With AI results

   Learning Insights and Testing Insights look at different parts of your learning. Practice With AI results do not drive your AI Study Room learning level.

   Or:

   HIGH NEET priority + strong learning

   That chapter may have appeared often in past NEET questions, but your recent work may show that another weaker area deserves the next study session.

   These clues may point in different directions because they measure different things.

9. Use your available time as part of the decision

   AIandMe does not know everything about your study day.

   If you have:

   20 minutes You might revise a small section, review a few mistakes or ask about one specific doubt.

   An hour You might work through a Study Plan learning unit and complete its Daily Quiz.

   A longer practice session You might take a focused Practice With AI test and review the result afterwards.

   You decide what fits the time and priorities you actually have.

10. Use a simple decision order when you are unsure

    When you genuinely do not know what to do next, try this:

    1. Is there unfinished learning I already started? Continue the relevant Study Plan work.

    2. Did my checked AI Study Room work reveal weak understanding? Relearn or revise that area.

    3. Did Practice With AI reveal repeated wrong, Guessed or pacing problems? Review and practise those areas.

    4. Am I deciding where to spend extra NEET revision time? Use NEET Question Insights or NEET Stats where available.

    5. Am I still unsure? Use Ask AI to discuss the current chapter and the information available.

    Then choose the action that best matches your goal.

You choose what deserves your attention next

AIandMe does not need to make every study decision for you. Use your Study Plan and Learning Insights for learning, Practice Test Result and Testing Insights for practice, and NEET Question Insights or NEET Stats for past-question patterns.

Then use that picture with your own schedule, goals and judgement.

The best next step is the one that addresses the most useful problem in your preparation right now.
