Read

Use Read when you want to work through the selected section in more detail.

1. Open Read for more detail

   Read presents structured learning content for the selected section. It divides the content into subsections so you can focus on one part at a time.

   Check the section or part heading before you begin. The Read content follows the current selection in the Chapter Workspace.

2. Move through the subsections

   The first subsection may already be open. Select the other subsection headings to expand or collapse them as you continue.

   Move at your own pace. You can keep one subsection open while you study it and open another when you are ready.

3. Know when to use Read

   If you want to...	Use
   Work through the section in more detail	Read
   See an overview, key points, concepts, optional media and Try It	Revise

   Read gives you detailed learning content for the selected section. Keep your NCERT textbook with you when you want to refer to the complete official textbook content or wording.

   Use Read as part of your AI Study Room learning, together with the textbook and syllabus required for your course.

4. Understand progress

   Reading does not mark a Study Plan day Done. The study timer may still record your active time while you use the Chapter Workspace.

   Use the Daily Quiz for a Study Plan day when you want AIandMe to check your understanding and update that day's completion.

   Reading and active time are still useful learning activity even though they are measured separately from progress and competency.
