Privacy Policy
Scope and who this policy applies to
This Privacy Policy explains how AIandMe processes personal data for its India-first educational support platform. It applies to students, parents or guardians, account users, paid-plan purchasers, support requesters, and visitors to AIandMe public pages.
“AIandMe” means the AIandMe platform and services operated by CEIPL. References to “AIandMe”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean AIandMe.
AIandMe is currently intended for users located in India. Privacy practices may change as legal review, product design, and compliance workflows mature.
What personal data AIandMe collects
AIandMe may collect account and verification data such as name, email address, phone number where used, login identifiers, password security data, and verification status.
AIandMe may collect profile and demographic data such as date of birth or age-band, class, curriculum, school or exam context, preferred subjects, learning goals, and parent or guardian information where relevant.
AIandMe may collect subscription and billing data such as plan, price, currency, payment status, invoice request details, refund request details, tax-related details you provide, and payment references from payment partners.
AIandMe may collect support communications, grievance requests, safety reports, refund requests, privacy requests, and related evidence you choose to provide.
AIandMe may collect technical and security logs such as device, browser, IP-derived region, request metadata, session metadata, error diagnostics, fraud-prevention signals, and service security events.
Student, AI interaction, and learning data
AIandMe may process student data, parent data, uploaded materials, AI interactions, prompts, responses, learning activity, practice-test activity, answers, feedback, progress indicators, AI credit usage, and feature usage.
AI interaction data may include student questions, generated explanations, generated practice content, answer analysis, learning insights, and safety or moderation signals.
Why AIandMe processes data
AIandMe processes data to create and secure accounts, provide study and practice features, personalize learning support, operate AI-enabled workflows, process paid plans, manage AI credits, provide receipts or billing documents, respond to support, prevent abuse, debug errors, comply with law, and enforce terms.
AIandMe may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product performance, improve educational workflows, measure reliability, and develop safer features.
Cookies and similar technologies on the public website
The public AIandMe website uses or may use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to provide requested functions, protect the website, remember essential choices, and operate consent controls.
AIandMe may use optional analytics technologies, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4), when they are implemented, enabled, and permitted by the applicable user choice. AIandMe may separately use optional advertising or marketing measurement technologies when they are implemented, separately enabled, legally permitted, and covered by an appropriate choice. Choosing analytics does not itself authorize advertising or marketing measurement.
Optional technologies remain disabled until the applicable choice is made where consent is required. You may change or withdraw optional-cookie choices through website preference controls when they are available, and browser controls may also limit cookies.
See the Cookie Policy for more information about cookie categories, third-party technologies, preferences, and browser controls.
Children's data, under-18 enrollment, and parental consent
AIandMe is built for school students, including users who may be under 18. Under-18 students should use AIandMe only with parent or lawful guardian involvement, permission, and supervision.
By registering, the person creating the account confirms that required parent or lawful guardian permission or attestation has been provided where applicable. This is a launch-level attestation; AIandMe does not currently verify parent identity or operate a verified parental-consent workflow.
Where parental consent is required by applicable law or product flow, AIandMe may request parent or guardian information, consent evidence, or purchase authorization in the future. A stronger verified parental-consent workflow remains a future legal-review decision.
Parents or guardians may contact AIandMe through the support or privacy request path to ask about correction, deletion, consent withdrawal, or account support for a student.
Third-party service providers and AI providers
AIandMe may use third-party AI providers, payment processors such as Razorpay, cloud hosting, email or notification services, analytics tools, security tools, support tools, and operational vendors.
These providers may process information where needed to provide, secure, bill, troubleshoot, or support AIandMe. AIandMe expects providers to process information according to applicable contractual and legal obligations.
AIandMe may send AI interaction data to third-party AI providers when needed to generate, evaluate, explain, summarize, classify, or support educational outputs.
Security safeguards and breach response
AIandMe uses administrative, technical, and operational safeguards intended to protect accounts, student data, payment-related records, and service systems. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
If AIandMe identifies a security incident or personal data breach requiring notice or regulatory action, AIandMe will assess and respond according to applicable Indian law, contractual duties, product context, and incident response processes.
Retention and deletion
AIandMe retains personal data for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain accounts, support paid plans, preserve learning history, operate AI credits, handle disputes, meet tax or accounting duties, detect abuse, comply with law, and enforce terms.
Deletion or retention periods may vary by data type. Billing, tax, support, safety, security, and legal records may need to be retained even after account closure where required or permitted by law.
Cross-border processing and India-first availability
AIandMe is India-first, but some third-party AI providers, cloud providers, or operational vendors may process data outside India where needed to provide the service.
By using AIandMe, you understand that information may be processed in locations where AIandMe or its providers operate, subject to applicable law and safeguards.
User and parent rights
Users, parents, or guardians may request access, correction, update, deletion, consent withdrawal, account support, grievance review, or privacy assistance through the support or privacy contact path provided by AIandMe.
Some requests may require identity verification, parent or guardian verification, account verification, legal review, or retention of certain records for billing, safety, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
Compliance statements
This policy does not claim GDPR compliance. AIandMe may update privacy wording, consent flows, rights handling, and grievance workflows as product and compliance workflows mature.
Contact and updates
For privacy requests, consent questions, deletion requests, correction requests, grievances, or support, contact AIandMe through the support or contact path provided in the product or on the AIandMe website.
AIandMe may update this Privacy Policy as the product, legal requirements, provider relationships, or compliance workflows change. Changes are effective when posted on AIandMe, unless a later effective date is stated. Please review this policy periodically.
For material changes, AIandMe may notify you through the app, email, support messages, or another reasonable method where appropriate or required. Some future changes may require renewed acceptance, but no reacceptance workflow is implemented in this launch slice.
